[SMM Weekly Review: Film Enterprises Procured Based on Rigid Demand, EVA Prices Remained Weak and Stable] This week, the price of PV-grade EVA was 10,000-10,400 yuan/mt, the mainstream price range of EVA film was 12,300-12,500 yuan/mt, and the price range of EPE film was 13,900-14,000 yuan/mt.

SMM June 12 news:

EVA: This week, the price of PV-grade EVA ranged from 10,000 to 10,400 yuan/mt. The prices of foam-grade and cable-grade EVA remained stable at low levels. Film enterprises purchased based on rigid demand. Some petrochemical plants on the supply side were expected to undergo maintenance and switch production, resulting in an overall tight supply. However, the production schedule of modules on the demand side declined, and demand fell short of expectations. The market as a whole exhibited a pattern of weak supply and demand, with PV-grade EVA prices remaining stable at a weak level.

Film: The mainstream price range of EVA film was 12,300 to 12,500 yuan/mt, and the price range of EPE film was 13,900 to 14,000 yuan/mt. The production schedule of modules on the demand side declined, and demand was weak. The price of PV-grade EVA on the cost side remained stable at a weak level, weakening the cost support for film. It is expected that film prices will remain stable in the near future.

POE: The domestic delivery-to-factory price of POE remained stable at 12,000 to 14,000 yuan/mt. Under the dual pressures of gradually weakening demand and the successive release of new capacity, it is expected that the price of PV-grade POE will be under pressure.

China Approves 17.44 GW Power Plan for Qaidam Desert Base, Including Solar, Wind, and Energy Storage Projects
It is understood that the National Energy Administration has officially approved the power source allocation plan for the "Qaidam Desert Base (East Golmud) Base". The planned construction scale of the power source projects at this base is 17.44 million kilowatts, including 10 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power, 5 million kilowatts of wind power, 2.64 million kilowatts of coal-fired power, 0.1 million kilowatts of solar thermal power, and 1.5 million kilowatts (for 4 hours) of electrochemical energy storage. The total investment in the projects is about 86 billion yuan. The new energy will be transmitted to Guangxi through the "Qinghai-Guangxi DC" UHV power transmission project. Currently, significant progress has been made in the preliminary work of the "Qinghai-Guangxi DC" project, w

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
